The River Haven Hotel
Situated in the historic town of Rye, on the Strand Quay overlooking the River Tillingham.

Pirate Ball

We're thrilled to be hosting the Brethren of the Sea's very first Pirate Ball right here at The River Haven Hotel — an evening of music, shenanigans, and swashbuckling fun.
Join the crew on Saturday 28th March 2026 from 6:30pm until 11:00pm. Don your finest pirate or smuggler garb and get ready for a night to remember — just leave the swords and pistols at home!
The evening features a live set from Brighton-based folk favourites The Captains Beard, alongside DJ Kenny keeping the energy high between sets. Your £36 ticket includes a buffet, so you'll be well fuelled for the festivities. There'll also be an auction featuring items donated from Pirates of the Caribbean, tickets from Kino, and more.
Rooms are available here at the hotel if you'd like to make a night of it — perfect if you'd rather not navigate the high seas home afterwards.
